Um... Oopsie


I went to breakfast with a group of girlfriends this morning. We were having so much fun and laughing so loud, we actually got shushed by the people at another table. Shushed! What? Too much joy! Enough with the joy! Asshats.

Meanwhile I had my old coffee shop breakfast standby - oatmeal.

Then I made the large mistake of running around all day and letting myself get too hungry. I picked up dinner from Gus's BBQ for the family and I got a veggie burger for myself. It was delicious but I ate it a lot too fast. After I was done and starting to feel sort of crappy, I realized that it had cheese on it. I don't eat cheese. Sneaky dairy. Oops. Those sweet potato fries probably didn't help my cause much either. I'm going to need a large green drink ASAP.


What I ate today:

• coffee
• oatmeal w/ bananas, strawberries, walnuts, dried cherries (Central Park)
• veggie burger with freakin' cheese (Gus's BBQ)
sweet potato fries (Gus's BBQ)

  1. Since you're really not eating very much I wonder if you've thought about adding nutritional yeast to your salads and curries, perhaps. Good source of protein and B-vitamins. I use it in salad dressings and on popcorn and in "cheese" sauces because we just like the taste. Perhaps it is not really raw and/or vegan?

    1. Yes! I love nutritional yeast. I'm a big fan. I wore it out by eating it too much awhile back, it's about time I brought it back. xo
