Full On The Fourth

I couldn't even fit it all in the picture.

Today was fourth of July and we squeezed a lot into our Independence Day. In the afternoon (after the parade but before the fireworks) we went to Amy and Dan's for a party. The spread was fantastic. Amy is an excellent cook and was super great and made a lot of things I can eat - so I did. And plenty of it. And then seconds on top of that. My favorite thing was the watermelon gazpacho. (When I get the recipe I will share it with you.) Man, it's good. Those grilled Portobellos were mighty fine too. Oh, it was just all wonderful.

What I ate today:

• 3 bananas (I'm on a roll)
• Brazil nuts
• 2 figs
• Evolution Fresh Organic Spicy Lemonade (Fresh N Easy)
• carrots
• cherry tomatoes
• Trader Joe's Apple Banana Fruit Bar
• watermelon gazpacho
• green salad
• zucchini squash "spaghetti"
• coleslaw (no dairy)
• grilled Portobello mushrooms (vegan not raw)
