Today my son and I were getting stir-crazy so we headed to Trails Cafe in Griffith Park for lunch. Trails is tiny. It's very forrest-y and eating is at picnic tables outside. They have a very small but good menu. I went vegan, not raw for my lunch and actually had bread for the first time in three months.
Dinner we went to the coffee shop by the house and I did my special order of a chicken salad without the chicken, add extra avocado. Was good, it was.
What I ate today:
• avocado sandwich - vegan, not raw - avocado, tomato, sprouts, red onion, vegan "bacon bits," whole wheat bread
• Palapa Azul Golden Sunrise Frozen Bar
• green salad - romaine, raisins, grapes, almonds, avocado w/citrus vinaigrette
• iced tea
