Thanks to my friend Marinka, I was forced (by her) to realize that I left something off of yesterday's list that she had witnessed me consuming: a glass of orange juice. (Thanks, Food Police!)
At lunch today the conference we're at set up a tea for us complete with a bunch of tiniest sandwiches and scones and little sugar things, none of which I could eat. The hotel kitchen people were nice enough to bring me a small vegetable plate. Then at dinner the hotel kitchen guys came through again.
I've had a wonderful time but I'm really looking forward to getting back to ... Kale-ifornia. Oh, yes I did.
What I ate today:
• pineapple and berries
• 2 moji coconut macaroons (brought with me from home)
• peppers, carrots, asparagus, olive tapenade, hummus
• marcona almonds
• gazpacho - this was amazing
• vegetable plate - cauliflower, wood ear mushrooms, onions, pea sprouts (this was vegan but not all raw)
